These “About Me” things make me feel a little awkward. Let’s see…
My name is Lindsey. I’m a third year Elementary Education major at the AMAZING University of Florida. I have a real passion for children and learning. I think kids are incredible and need be told so; they need to understand the importance of knowledge and of caring about one another. I’ve had really amazing teachers my entire life, and if I can do for others what they have done for me, I’ll be in good shape.
I am flawed and constantly tend to screw things up, but I am blessed beyond what I deserve by a God who loves me anyway. I want to live a life consumed by loving Jesus and loving the people He has created. I’m awful at it, but God is teaching me that I am incapable of doing it on my own. I am really nothing apart from Him.
Some other things I love: books, thunderstorms, Atlanta Braves baseball, my family and my puppy (who isn’t really a puppy anymore), writing, children, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, scrapbooking, journals, The Office, music, traveling, Earl Grey tea, Jesus and the Florida Gators!
I’m definitely in a very big transition stage right now, and feeling very in-between. In between looking back and looking forward, holding on and letting go. There have been major changes in my life lately, and while that is sometimes overwhelming and a little hard to deal with, God is amazing and faithful and I am learning how to forget about my own plans and seek after His.

I thought you were going to keep up on it? Hey I have the worst habits of keeping up on mine and my life is actually interesting believe it or not. Like I spent last Saturday, all day. hanging out with Brody and Shaun Groves. Brody is his manager and will be on tour with Phil for like a month and a half while Shaun is on break. I took a ton of video including some I have not published like me asking the check out person at Wholefoods if the food Shaun Groves was buying was the correct stuff to cleanse his colon. Yeah I had a blast Saturday. Anyway I will not hold it against you for being a gator fan, attendy, whatevah! My landlord and his wife are alums, God help me. Anyway I will definently see you at the show if you go, I will be hanging out with Brody which means I guess Phil also. Funny thing is prior to last Thursday I didn’t know who Phil Wickham was until Brody told me about him.
